First Freelance Job
I specilize in web development and programming. I got my first freelance job right after HKCEE in 2004. My responsibility was to code an online affiliate system and integrate it into an existing online shop for a DVD vendor. Since then, I have finished quite a lot of freelance projects such as web design, online shop (aka E-shopping Cart), web service and backend system, stocking system, etc.
Information systems always need to store their data in DBMS (DataBase Management System). So far I have played with various DBMS such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Access, and Oracle along with my previous projects.
I also know how to manage and maintain a Linux/Unix server, and a little bit networking. Other than my favourite Linux distros, CentOS and Debian, I have solid experiences in FreeBSD, Fedora, and Redhat Enterprise. Unfortunately, I only have very limited experiences on Windows Server.
